After 18 months of refining, MeadWestvaco has unveiled a new generation of Tango® coated cover papers that are brighter, smoother, more consistent and nearly perfect in their on-press performance.

The latest generation of Tango boasts superior runnability, printability and consistency. These characteristics consistently ranked as "critical" or "very important" in interviews MeadWestvaco conducted last year with 150 small-, medium- and large-format commercial printers in 31 states, to determine which performance and aesthetic requirements of coated cover stocks they considered to be most important.

Along with enhanced performance, Tango's brightness has increased to 93 from 88 for both the coated-one-side (C1S) and coated-two-side (C2S) cover stock, while brightness on the uncoated side of Tango cover C1S jumped to 90 from 81.
